Course Overview

The aim of this module is to develop your knowledge of finance and accounting and the ability to use that knowledge to interpret financial and accounting information when providing advice to the board, or a similar decision-making body, in strategy development and/or decision-making.

The cost of this programme includes a two day introduction to accounting programme.  This programme will cover the key concepts of accounting and finance that underpin the IFAI module and which students will need as a basis to successfully study the module.  These classes will be held online using Zoom and will be recorded.

Introduction to Accounting class dates: Saturday 22nd February and Saturday 1st March (9.30am-4.30pm)

Course Length: 9 evening and 2 Sunday online live sessions

Course Times: 6.15pm-8.45pm (Mon) and 10am-5pm (Sun)

Course Start Date: Monday 3rd March 2025

Course End Date: Monday 12th May 2025

Sunday Dates: 23rd March and 13th April 2025

There will be no classes on the Bank Holidays (21st April and 5th May 2025)

Examination Date: Wednesday 11th June 2025

Cost: £500
