Susan Wallace

Susan is a Fellow of the CGI, the author of the ICSA Company Secretary’s Troubleshooter (3rd edition – June 2012) and regularly contributes to company secretarial publications and technical updates.

Susan co-founded Bruce Wallace Associates with Martha Bruce in 2013, providing outsourced company secretarial services to a range of listed and unlisted companies. Susan advises directors on UK governance and regulatory matters; she also assists other professional tax and legal advisers with ad hoc technical restructuring share issues and the administration of all types of incentive plans. In 2023 the Bruce Wallace team joined a large UK legal firm.

Prior to setting up Bruce Wallace, Susan was an executive director of David Venus & Company where she managed a large client portfolio, providing fully outsourced technical company secretarial support and corporate governance advice.

Susan gained her initial company secretarial experience within legal and accountancy practices including Eversheds and KPMG in Hong Kong. Susan is a fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute having studied at KCB.

  • The sessions with Susan were very structured and covered the study main topics. Using Padlet and having a limited time to draft answers is excellent practice for the exam. I also found reading other students’ answers helpful and has helped me with structuring my answers.
