Course Overview

The aim of this module is to develop your knowledge of finance and accounting and the ability to use that knowledge to interpret financial and accounting information when providing advice to the board, or a similar decision-making body, in strategy development and/or decision-making.

The cost of this programme includes a two day introduction to accounting programme.  This programme will cover the key concepts of accounting and finance that underpin the IFAI module and which students will need as a basis to successfully study the module.  These classes will be held online using Zoom and will be recorded.

Introduction to Accounting class dates: Saturday 22nd February and Saturday 1st March (9.30am-4.30pm)

Course Length: 11 evening and 1 Sunday online live sessions

Course Times: 4.00pm-6.30pm (Thu) and 9.30am-4.30pm (Sun)

Course Start Date: Thursday 6th March 2025

Course End Date: Thursday 15th May 2025

Sunday Date: 6th April 2025

Examination Date: Wednesday 11th June 2025
